ZXDSL 531B Modem- Internet Sharing & Lan Sharing Prb

I have BSNL BroadBand connection with ZXDSL 531B Modem and and i have not changed any of its default settings,I just installed PPPoE Drivers and connected to Internet, it worked fine. But When i dO Wireless NETWORK search in my laptop,it recognized my ADSL ROUTER and gets connected,when i put the ip of my laptop in "Run" of my PC, i can see my share folders and transfer files etc,
But when i insert My Pc's IP in my laptop it gives error "Network Path not Found" And i can not use internet simultaneously,I either have to dial from my pc or from laptop each time to use internet.

Can someone guide me how to Configure modem in such a way that if i m connected to internet, then i can surf through both my PC and and I can transfer file or data both ways.

My PC is Connected to ADSL Router through Ethernet LAN wire
LapTop is connected Through WiFi


I tried certain tutorials given in different forums and blogs but it messed up whole thing so now i m running it at default settings.

Save present settings of modem.
Configure to router mode.

[*]Login to http://192.168.1.1 with the username and password. .
[*]When logged in, click on the WAN tab.
[*]Click on “ATM VC” and make sure interface aal5-0 VPI = 0 & VCI = 35, MUX = LLC, Max proto = 2.
[*]Click on “PPP” and then a new interface.
[*]Set the new interface as PPP interface = 0 ATM VC = aal5-0, protocol = PPoE, use DNS = enable, security = PAP.
[*]Don’t forget to set your bsnl username without @ bsnl .in
[*] and also your password.
[*]Submit after that.
[*]After that, click on “Admin” and then “Commit” and then “Reboot”

I have already Done that ,But though I had filled full username, Including @bsnl.in,but i still got connected as soon as witched on the modem and was able to surf internet from both my PC and Laptop,But still i m not able to veiw or access shared folders of my pc from my latop.

firstly ensure no firewall is blocking.. secondly ensure both pcs are able to ping each other.. thirdly ensure you tried network setup wizard..
 
I m not using any firewall not even windows fire wall.

I m successfully ping from my pc to laptop but from laptop the request gets time out

192.168.1.2---PC-WinXP SP-2-No Firewall
192.168.1.3---Laptop-WinXP SP-2-No Firewall

Now i m able to surf both from pc and laptop simultaneously but can not access shared files of My PC from my laptop .
 
Off course- its EnabledHere is the Problem Point by PointWhat I want-----I want Network between my laptop and Pc so that i can share filesi-- want to surf net simultaneously in my laptop and Pc when connectedRight now i can surf net simultaneously from Pc and laptop after tueing my ADSL Router to PPPoe mode and putting my username and pasword, prb with this settings is that even if i just want to tranfer files between the pc& laptop i have to switch on the modem and as soon as its switched on its connected to internet also.Under current settings i can access share files of my laptop from pc but not from laptop to Pc.
 
are the PC drives formatted with NTFS?have you changed some user group permission settings?make sure that in tools--->folder options--->view "use simple file sharing(recommended)"is checked.
 
Network Setup wizard gives error=====could not complete network setup
give the exact description of error along with any error code.
