I recently got a new EVDO connection and they gave me a ZTE AC8700 modem instead of Prithvi. Although I can successfully install the drivers, whenever I open ZTE Connect Terminal, it is unable to detect network. There's a small cross sign where signal bars are to be displayed.
I inserted the SIM in an old Reliance CDMA phone and promptly got full singal strength. I've tried installing and uninstalling the drivers multiple times but to no avail.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
