I have recently Installed DishTV in my home. I have two TV sets . Is it possible for me to install D.D FTA STB on another TV. I had checked the DishTV STB, it has two ports on On is IN and 2nd is OUT. Can i use the OUT port of DishTV STB to in Port of DD FTA STB in port so that i Can use the single Dish for two STB.

ahem. you would need a compatible STB and a compatible card that is used in the STB.

I too tried this but some channels were not displayed in the FTA STB.Due to vertical and hozizantal polarization. So I purchased one dish antenna, lnb and cable for the FTA STB. Now it works fine. If you want to use single attenna then you have to go for big size antenna and dual LNB, but it costs more, better go for separate antenna set for the FTA STB This is my personal experience.

DishTV technician use this FTA STB to correct the polarization.Costs around Rs.1000.Without changing the antenna you can use this to view all FTA channels.

Is it so? But Rs 1000 is very costly, instead of this, he can go for separate new dish antenna and LNB. it costs less than Rs 1000. and also he can change the antenna direction , when ever he wants to catch other satillite signals.
no need to disturb his dish tv antenna.
