Seems OK with MIUI V6.Only drawback is that the camera isn't that great..minimalistic UI to capture photos..Apart from that its a beast.

The Nvidia K1 maybe be a powerful silicon, but the drivers/binaries are very unstable and poorly optimized.

How useful is MiPad going to be when it doesn't have a SIM slot. We still do not have any/good wifi coverage.

The device doesn't make any sense for always-on-the-move types.

^ well, may be most of the time tabs are used within home/office. But the moment you step out the device becomes useless. scary ... 😱

the same thing would happen if you are out of balance? people can always use a mobile hotspot. there are a bunch that have internal battery. folks are only going to buy a wifi only device if that's what they need!

I wish Xiaomi could have added 3G capabilities to miPad. Would have been my instant choice.

then someone would have wished for a lte version. and then someone would have wanted a model with expandable storage. and then someone would have found some other flaw in it.

i do believe mi has cellular enabled version in usa right? maybe they would bring it at a later stage.
