With CAS kicking in, will LCOs be extinct?

I hate my cable operator, like millions of others in the city. They cheat, they don't provide remotely decent service and they're a very unprofessional lot overall. But now since CAS is kicking in, they won't have a choice but to disclose their customer base severely affecting their profit margins. Is this going to make them get out of business and sell their operations to MSOs directly or will we forever have to bear these clowns?
