right. this is bad. they need to highlight the publisher more prominently especially considering there are banking and trading apps listed there!

tons of third party apps are using branded names. this is one such example:

this was a big issue on google android platform but no longer. microsoft's windows store is supposed to moderate all new app submissions. i have no idea why are they approving apps with names like this.

the auto-corrector in the metro interface is nice. works nicely.

I do not think anyone would be affected at all. As long as they do not change the UI of Windows 8.1 to match Windows Phone 8.1 with tiles spread across the entire screen.
