I have this problem when ever my line is dropped, XP won't always auto connect to the internet even when I have the option ticked redial if line is dropped

IIRC even win 98 had this facility.

Can't understand why people still use XP if they have the latest hardware. XP can't even utilize the multiple threads on modern processors

I think he uses an old desktop. I had rather use lubuntu on it than windows xp. no antivirus can save windows xp from the malware of today.

i have the same issue in win7 too if that helps anyone lol ?😛

ok i had this problem on XP though not that much.
Now with Windows 7 too. Line drops in bridge connection and it wont auto re connect, don't know what kind of weird disconnection happens from MTNL that windows is Unable to see it as Line Disconnected.
If i close the modem that auto redial box appears just fine...
but with main disconnection from MNTL its not showing up ?? whats wrong yar...it disconnects in the middle of the night... :
