I wonder how much of a risk it would be to use ISO to upgrade to Windows 11 on a non-supported system. I want to try but it is going to take some time.

Also, MS indicated that they won't provide updates on unsupported systems. If that is true, that can be an issue.

Give folks about 15 days time. Everything will be nuked. You will be easily able to install as well as update windows.

Scripts are available on Github to upgrade Win 10 from unsupported systems to Win 11. Updates work too ( at least rt now ).

From what I have read, clean installation should not be an issue on older processor. But for others you can use Win 11 Boot And Upgrade FiX KiT v2.0

I was on release preview, will stop insider preview today and check. Although OS is not that great if we remove teams chat (some might like) direct support for android apps which I need to try. I would still love windows 7 or xp with full user control but lacks drivers

Take off your hands from the trigger. Upgraded to windows 11 and it is glitchy AF!
