Monfils wins in 4 sets

Zverev survives in 5 sets after being 1-2 sets down. He got lucky that match got suspended yesterday and today he was back in his form and won final 2 sets very easily.

Anderson, Tsitsipas win too.

Federer, Isner win in straight sets.

Mannarino beats Medvedev who had UPSET Coric in 1st round.

McDonald beats Pella who UPSET Cilic just a day before.

Today's Key Matches:

Nadal v/s Minaur
Djokovic v/s Edmund
Zverev v/s Gulbis
Kyrgios v/s Nishikori
Del Potro v/s Paire

Raonic (resume), Khachanov, Tiafoe, Simon, Fognini to play too.

Edmund is rising British star - he may probably win 1st set against Djokovic and then depends on how Djokovic reacts to it and how much form Edmund can continue through out the match.

If Nishikori comes back to his original form (before injury) then he can beat Kyrgios.

Paire is unpredictable player and can give hard time to Del Potro.

Nadal, Del Potro win in straight sets.

Vesely UPSETs Fognini in 4 sets
Raonic, Simon win in 4 sets

Djokovic loses first set to Edmund. 2nd set going on.

Djokovic wins in 4 sets after 1st scare.

Gulbis UPSETs A. Zverev in 5 setter.

Nadal was supposed to have tough draw but he keeps getting lucky. Guys who could shake him gets knocked out before reaching him.

Nishikori wins in straight sets against Kyrgios. Is he back in his old form?

Today's Key Matches:

Men's 4th Round

Federer v/s Mannarino
Nadal v/s Vesley
Anderson v/s Monfils
Djokovic v/s Khachanov
Del Potro v/s Simon
Nishikori v/s Gulbis
Isner v/s Tsitsipas
Raonic v/s McDonald

Vesley can UPSET Nadal because - Nadal has shown weakness in grass plus Vesley has beaten Dschwartzman and Fognini.

So he should be feeling confident. He just needs to maintain the level (or increase it further)

Nishikori v/s Gulbis should be interesting.

Overall 1 or 2 matches would be close and few others interesting.

Nadal, Federer, Isner win in straight sets.

Vesley had nothing against Nadal and Nadal just raced away with a win.

Nishikori, Raonic, Anderson win in 4 sets

Still 2 matches remaining but overall - today was disappointing as those who were supposed to win - won. (or looks like on-course to winning)

Djokovic also wins easily in 3 sets.

Del Potro is ahead 2 sets to 1 against Simon.

Match is tight 1st two sets went in to tie break which Del Potro won.

Third set was also heading towards tiebreak when Simon broke Del Potro to win 3rd set.

Women's Quarter Finals will be played today.

Rest day for men (expect Del Potro v/s Simon match)

Del Potro wins against Simon in 4 sets --- he wins all 3 tie breaks.

Match lasted almost 4 and half hours --- this year's Wimbledon record.

Finally Nadal will face someone who is capable to beat him. (since its not clay)

Today's Key Matches

Men's Quarter Final

Djokovic v/s Nishikori
Nadal v/s Del Potro
Federer v/s Anderson
Isner v/s Raonic

They have allocated court number 1 to Federer instead of Centre court!!! (which is very rare)

which means that organizers are (rightly) expecting very tight matches between Djokovic v/s Nishikori and Nadal v/s Del Potro!. And not expecting much fireworks between Federer and Anderson.

Djokovic may be in 4 sets but it can go to 5 sets. Both Djokovic and Nishikori are coming out of injury period and trying to be back in top 10. Both are trying to regain their old form.

Del Potro may just UPSET Nadal ... but the condition is that Del Potro should play his natural game and not try to over-do things just because opponent is Nadal. (He should not forget that opponent is Nadal but he should also remember that its not clay but grass court.)

Isner v/s Raonic would be match of big servers. If Isner is serving his best - Raonic can not beat him otherwise it would be tight match.

Only match where one can see a clear winner is Federer v/s Anderson where only Federer can play bad and lose. (OR if Anderson comes with some divine game)

He was 2-0 sets up and had match point at 5-4 in 3rd set.

They he cudnt win on match point and then was broken and match went in 4th set

and then he cudnt break Anderson at all in 4-5 break point chances.

Djokovic wins in 4 sets.

Del Potro almost beat Nadal but Nadal turned it around and wins in 5 sets.

Isner beats Raonic in 4 sets.

With Federer's loss I will stop UPDATES here.

Semi finals will be played tomorrow and Finals on Sunday.

Djokovic v/s Nadal
