Today I opened an account in Oriental Bank of Commerce and to my surprise I got a RuPay Debit card instead of VISA! When I asked them to give a VISA card then they said that only this is available.They said it works in online transactions but I don't know whether it will work in stores in Steam,Origin,ect. Can anyone provide some information on this ? I cannot test my card right now as it will take a week to get activated.

What is the starting number of your card?
Not sure about Steam and all. But for normal use like online shopping,recharging it works. My father has one from Vijaya Bank.
