wifi router for act broadband

I am currently using bsnl broadband with the router "D-Link DSL-2750U Wireless N ADSL2 4-Port Wi-Fi Router"
i m planning to get ACT broadband in a couple of days,will this router work as a wi-fi router for ACT connection,the service provider said that it should be compatible with rj45 cable,can somone please help me out???

It is not compatible as it is an adsl router. You need just wifi router without any modem built in it

Get some basic wifi router(Not ADSL router) TP-Link 150mbps router is available for less than 900 bucks. If you can spend then get the 300mbps one
