I got banned!
Tikona was present in my colony till it was booted out. They were providing WiFi nodes which were connected via a cable (not sure what type of cable). As far as I know no laser was used. Feedback for Tikona from its customers, was it was a pathetic service.

They seem to use free space optical communication. That tech looks too good on paper. Not much is in the public domain about real world usage.
