Why is RAM getting expensive every passing day?

I bought 2 corsair 16GB DDR4 3200MHZ sticks at 6000 a piece in October 2020. At that time too it was too high usual price is in between 4-5k but now the same stick is going for 7k what the heck is going with the DRAM market?

I need to purchase 2 more sticks and have been waiting for a month for the price to come down but instead it has increased by 200.

Global shortage is for the actual GPU or CPU but not DRAM

The reason there is a shortage of GPUs is cause everything needs DRAM chips, and they are scarce right now.
There is a chip shortage right at the silicon level itself.
