Why BSNL 3G not opening some websites ?

I am Sarang Dave from Rajkot, Gujarat(India). I am using BSNL 3G prepaid wireless broad band.

When I have purchased it, it could open the website : Stack Overflow But, now from last 2 months, I am unable to open this website. 🙁

I have changed my DNS server to 8.8.8.8 & Alternate server to 8.8.4.4. This both are the free google dns servers. But, still facing the same problem. For reference : Using Google Public DNS

I am getting following error after loading :

The server at stackoverflow.com is taking too long to respond.

Please suggest the solution. For reference :

Stackoverflow is not DNS problem. It is not opening with BSNL 3G's IP which is NIB's IP range because Stackoverflow's server has blocked this IPs. To get rid of this try some proxy (anonymous or elite). This solves problem. Google public DNS and OpenDNS are not always good. Try NortonDNS (198.153.192.1 198.153.194.1)

I also discovered that http://imageshack.us/ doesn't work on BSNL 3G.

@iitmanojit - Is there any official news that Stackoverflow server has blocked BSNL 3G IP?

@cr97 Imageshack working perfectly, just use the alternative upload method. I don't know about official news, but searching over internet and IBF I found this. You can Google it. I have successfully opened StackOverflow, SuperUser using a anonymous proxy (US).

Why should we go improper way of proxy? we should fight with BSNL to get this working in a normal way

Both Airtel and Docomo 3G users say that they are able to access Stackoverflow site without any problems. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR @ BSN-HELL... WAKE UP BSNL 3G team and get this fixed...

Now stackoverflow works 😀 since i've assigned a public ip(117.230.x.x) which is not shared across different users...🙂 I guess this changes done for south zone only as of now!

I am not assigning any IP myself. Sorry for the error... My correct IP is 117.230.85.X
