Hello all. I am using a D-Link dual band router - DIR 825 for my Railwire Fiber connection. It's been a month since I got it installed. The LCO didn't configure anything other than the initial PPPoE settings like user ID and password. Since then, I have reset it multiple times. Since the beginning, I had issues playing PUBG Mobile even though the ping was good(50-60). Today, when I searched a bit, I encountered the term MTU. When I checked it in my router settings under the WAN connections, I found there were two MTU fields. One of them was set to 1500 and the other was 1492. Running the ping tests through CMD, I found the 1492 to be correct(1464+28). So I changed the 1500 to 1492. After I made this change, I felt a little improvement playing PUBG Mobile, but I believe there's a scope of improvement. I want you all to share your settings along with MTU values. And any idea why there are two MTU fields on this page ?
In case you have any suggestions, do let me know.
Thanks.
My settings are:
1598727331289.webp

1598727377837.webp

1598727392869.webp

first mtu is for pppoe and second is for router to web manager connection
and i am using 1432+28=1460 mtu for my bsnl bharat fiber connection

@ps111193 Thanks for the quick reply. So have you set both the MTU values to 1460 ? Or is it different ? And how did you get this value? Was it provided by the company/LCO or you found it yourself ?
