who owns the stb and antenna after disconnection?

I got my dish connection terminated and i am told that the stb and the antenna is dish tv property.I had paid rs 3000 11 months ago.So i forego the money and the hardware?
This is what i am being told by the customer care and the techinicians

i havent used my Tata Sky stb for 3 years now.the balance is -33.i was sharing one antenna with 3 others in my building.so technically i have it all with me.

yes, they do. You should have read the terms of agreement instead when signing up.
