I think he meant that due to a large number of disconnections, airtel were forced to introduce a better plan, hence the rofl. Anyway, lets not waste our time argueing over something as trivial as this. 🙂

Try setting the dns to that as suggested by namebench. If that doesn't work, call cc.

Actually i experienced such things earlier on beam... it shows 15-16mbps to servers in india and i used to get the download speed according to it 2mb/s on IDM. i was subscribed to 10mbps
