Which Hatchback less than 4 lakh? Wagon R Duo?

What is the best hatchback available at the moment (or before aug 2011) which costs around 4 Lakh. Needs to be spacious, safe and comfortable during drive. It is to be used mainly while I am on holidays there once per year (assume max 500 kms) and rest to be used by my parents once in a while (may be 50 kms per month). So it would be idle for around 11 months. I have the new Maruti Wagon R Duo in mind considering its height, cost of maintenance, service centre availability etc. Does it take both Petrol and LPG/CNG? Any other Automatic ones for this price?
