Which dth to buy??

Not sure if any of the DTH boxes offer this capability. In any case, the user experience would be very poor.

TBH: I was a subscriber of BIG TV for couple of years (3 to be exact) before I switched to TS for the HD+ services (reliance has none at that time). FWIW, altough BIG TV plans are cheaper than TS but quality of broadcast is better with TS and please do not even compare the customer care service.

I have also experienced DISH TV but again TS quality of broad cast is far better.


If recording is important for you please check IP TV plans from Airtel, they have no comparison.

Just to make up the numbers we also have @chromaniac 's favourite company Airtel as option... I would quality is less than Tata Sky & maybe more equal to Videocon but cost wise its more than Videocon.

Every DTH has this recording facility. You can record the programs in external hard disc /pen drive and watch later.
