Where to buy splitters?

Guys, can anyone tell me where i can buy splitters in mumbai?I tried asking the MTNL guys, they said they dont provide extra ones.I also went to a couple of computer hardware shops nearby, but they just asked me 1 question "What are you talking about?" Do I have to go all the way to Lamington for it?

if you have the router, then get it exchanged they generally dont check if the splitter is in there or not.the new router will have a splitter with it.

yes , but then there must be some process to change the router, only whne its faulty they will change.
