What's your strategy for unblocking blocked sites?

Interesting! Anyway to run similar tool on complete network - maybe on openwrt router or Rpi?

Edit - I thought only Jio did DPI, didn't know Airtel was also involved in this shady practice.

For me, it's only an issue when browsing. I use SwitchyOmega as a proxy browser extension, it defaults direct for all routes and circumvents with proxy when needed, automatically.
  • Tho, you will need to import/add your own site list to it.
  • Oh, and you also will need your own proxy server.
This is a preferred method for me since I'm not allowed to use the DPI circumvention application during work hours other than that, I also do not like using VPNs.

Add blocked sites to a list and route traffic to addresses in the list over a VPN.

My two cents, zapret causes failure of secure connection establishment in Firefox for random websites. I would not recommend using it. Some games also seems to be affected.

I just hit reload when I see connection reset on https, after 2-3 times it connects anyway.

Otherwise goodbyedpi, if that doesn't work, I just look for other sites frankly. Can't justify paying for a VPN I'd rarely use.

Force dns over https on browsers btw, select a dns provider don't leave it to auto.
