What username and password need to type in my IP

Hi,
When i'm typing my broadband ip in the browser, the browser asking me for a username and password. Can anyone tell me what username and password i need to type? I mean i have id&password of bsnl portal and selfcare. No other password i have. So please tell me where i can get my id and password for this.

This also does not work

hard reset the router by pushing the black pin in a hole at the back of the router, this will reset to defaults then try again
but this will also reset your broadband settings and you will hgave rto set them again
so do this with extreme care
