What Speeds Do U Get On 256 Kbps Plan ?

Hi,I had been on a 128 kbps plan since Nov 2,2005.I have changed my plan now & from today onwards would be on 256 kbps unlimited plan.On my earlier plan I used to have 13-14 KBps during day & 32-34 KBps during night.What speeds can I expect from my plan upgrade.Or what are the speeds generally associated with 256 kbps unlimited plan ?I am based at Lucknow.Would appreciate any comments as it would help me to assess my change of plan .Thanks.
 
actually you must be getting 275 to 280 kbps which means 36 kBs apprx. i am in 500 plus + Rs.49/- (after 9pm to 8am) unlimited plan. for me download limit is 1gb. i dont use my telephone for outgoing calls.my bill comes to Rs.610/- if i stay within the limit. ( excluding the night downloads which is unlimited.)I am in this scheme for the last 2 months. I have exhausted all types of downloads. unless you are using this for commercial use you too soon end up of not finding much use of this facility. when you reach that stage better switch over to the plan i am now in.

For 256Kbps plan the average speeds are anywhere between 22-26 KBps during the day and about 45-55 KBps druing the night (if u have double speeds at night plan in ur area).

i have a airtel 256 night unlimited
my download speed after 11.00 p.m. minimum 59 KB/S maximum 63 KB/S
i am use internet download manager 5

i am in bhopal and they provide night in double speed.
my plan is Airtel 256 KBPS TopUp = 545 Rs. / Month
night unlimited timing (9.00 p.m. to 8.00 a.m.) + downloading both.
 

i could not locate ur night double speeds on the airtel homepage......can u locate it for me

The speeds that he's talking about is download + upload
