windows mobile needed a stylus. most devices had resistive displays. ui sucked as there were menus everywhere. but it was pretty cool for its time considering the ability it offered. it sucked so much that when Apple iPhone arrived in the market, people were amazed to see that smartphones can be so easy to use and so beautiful as well. microsoft was shocked so bad that it took them years to recover. and they finally came up with windows phone os.the ui was actually pretty similar to what blackberry has even today on their smartphones. boring menus everywhere to get the work done.

lol i remember seeing the start menu on a mobile phone for the first time and went apeshit. I mean start menu ..on a mobile phone! that bro called that phone his "Palm computer" Had stylus and buttons/menus were soo small , using fingers was frustrating.
