What is speed for Vodafone 2G on iPhone?

Can anyone tell me what speeds I will get on their 2G data plans in the Delhi area?I have the original iPhone which does NOT have 3G. I've heard there is a 500 rupees unlimited plan but what use would it be if the speeds are too slow?I've heard about a 3 GB plan which costs 198 rupees a month. Is it any good? Are speeds very slow?

Don't know the download speed but in general the edge speed is very slow on Vodafone and most of the times you won't be able to load the web pages. I use it mostly for whatsapp, gtalk and msn messenger an 1gb is more than enough. If you want to spend around 500 bucks go for 3G. There is talk 500 plan for Mumbai where you get 500 local + std mins, 500 SMS local + std and 500 mb of 3G data. And I use iPhone 4.

As I mentioned in my OP, my iPhone does not have 3G. What is the cost for 1 GB for 2G?I have post paid corporate connection.
