What download speed do you get on your 1mbps connection?

Yesterday i switched to Tata Indicom's 1mbps unlimited plan. Earlier i was using reliance 512k connection.In the ADSL page, it shows a downstream of 4160 and an upstream of 1074 kbps. Is that normal?Right now am getting a download speed of 120 KBps , which is less than what i had in the 512k connection. Is that low for a 1mbps connection?? or should i be happy with that ? How can 120 kBps be less than 512 kbps? 120 kBps is 960 kbps, which is close to 1 Mbps.

^^ thanks for the reply.yea rite. But then i was confused by the downstream shown in ADSL page , that is 4160 kbps.

That's the max limit, and not your actual speed.
