well been using vista RTM for quite some time now .... n man its damn good!!
neways one peculiar problem i face is:
i connect my sub-woofer thru the microfone jack on the back of my cpu .... actually i connect 2 wires to the woofer, one from the microfone jack n other from the 'line in' jack.
i have an realtek ac-97 onboard sound controller.... i can change the output from the phonejack switch so that my woofer works (screenshot attached)
in xp this setup works perfectly n i get crystal clear bass from my woofer. but in vista even after doing as described above i m not able to get any bass output which pretty much ruins everything incl wmp 11 & teh amazing media center in vista rtm ultimate 🙁
any of u guyz facing the same problem or do any of u knw how to rectify this issue?
