Webcam for office calls

Currently using logitech c270 which give potato quality. Want to upgrade to something much better.
Budget 5-6k

Not a good option as I am using a desktop and usual distance from webcam to my face 2-3 feet.

Do note that the Mi Webcam doesn't have a built in mic.

Right. That's a problem on desktops. For years I solely used the Webcam as mic on my PC.

I don't need mic in webcam. I use a headset mic. Will mi webcam be any better than the existing logitech one that I have?

What exactly do you mean when you say 'potato' quality? Do you've enough light when you are on calls?
