Wanted: Bsnl Broadband UtStar Firmware

Guys i have a UT START 300R2 route adsl modem.
Unfortunately its loaded with default firmware from UT STAR which has very few options and above all doesnt allow us to configure inbound connections.

UT 300R2 modem provided with BSNL has the latest firmware,

If you have this firmware with you, or a UT 300R2 modem provided by BSNL Dataone
you can login to
http://192.168.1.1/
user: admin
pass: utstar or admin

Goto Admin > Local Image Upgrade
and dump your firmware to file and upload it on RS/Sendspce

I would appreciate your help.

Hi,

I currently have the BSNL Dataone modified firmware on a UT300R2U. I am looking for the full featured firmware for the UT300R2U modem. Where can I get it ? Also how do you extract the existing BSNL firmware from the modem ? I know there is a tftp server at 192.168.1.1, but I don't know the BSNL firmware file name.

Can some one help me with an update for this too??????
I dont mind junking it , coz i already paid more on its rental+taxes in the last 2 years than what it would have cost me in the open market:redface:
If the upgrade dont work,they'll probably give me a FREE replacement newer 4 port modem that they give to Trib+IPTV+Voip+Landline customers
Look at the crap i've put up with paid for 2048 and getting only 1347 just coz their speeds are guranteed upto Exchange only

@skorpio1. some problem in posting message/s. trying in IE after six failures in FireFox.
since you want to experiment Beetel 220BX Firmare should work.
Confirm your connection is MTNL.

I have not done any FW update ( not confident) either for my AxMT882 or Beetel 220Bx. Airtel gave me 220BX1 replacement.
