Want to connect D-Link router to BSNL ftth

Net is not working in windows server that's main issue right now
 
HG850a can be used in bridge mode.
What you need to do is disable internet connection on router and unbind 1-2 ports on router to be connected directly.
connect your new router/modem to this LAN port and setup PPPoe connection.
This would work fine.

Source: Been doing this for last 3 years on our connection.

I thought i figured it out .

Can you please help me out by giving some screenshots of your settings of both the routers so i can try the same myself.

The basics steps are
  1. login to ONT
  2. goto wan setup and uncheck "enable" option
  3. goto lan settings and uncheck ports you wish to use in bridge mode.
After this if you connect to unchecked ports it will work in bridge mode. you won't be able to access ont settings on these unchecked ports.
