Want a laptop for around 35k

I want to gift a laptop to my little brother, who just did his Hotel Management. My Budget is max 36 K and it should be having DOS. I have selected a few but the main concern is which brand is better 1. HP 2. Lenovo

currently hp is giving 1 yr warranty and by giving rs 2000/- extra they are providing 2 yrs extra warranty + some coupons as mentioned in their website.
whereas lenovo is providing 1 yrs warranty + 2yrs warranty free+coupons.

Can you pls suggest me which brand is better...........

Thanks..... I today went to a store, the build quality and the materials used in lenovo laptops was far better than HP laptops in the price range of 36k...but the seller told that hp has better service support....
Any views?

service experience would change from one outlet to another sadly. i have not dealt with either of the two companies so hard to say. my laptop repairing experience is limited to Dell and Samsung : D
