WA3002G4 WIFI connectivity issue

I use a Laptop that runs Windows 7 Home basic.. I get internet connectivity through ethernet cable.. i have configured wireless.. the network is present everytime.. when i enter the key to connect, it says "cannot connect to UTstarcom". after troubleshooting it says "Unresolved problem". I know the key is correct.. i changed it several times.. after configuring the modem as shown in other posts, the problem isn't resolved. i tried connecting my android phone., the same problem. disconnects automatically... help me.. i am new here.. please dont help me with abbrevations..

1. Configure your modem in PPPoE mode

2. Enable DHCP in your modem

3. In the TCP/IP properties of LAN and WAN adapters set " Obtain IP address automatically ".
