To use ICS, the computer with the original Internet
connection must:
Be running Microsoft
Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows
Millennium Edition, or Windows 98 Second Edition.
Have two network adaptersA computer circuit board, card, or
other device used to provide network access from a computer to
other parts of the network. installed (one for the Internet
connection and one to connect the computer to the local area
network, or LAN).
Be turned on whenever you want other computers on the
network to be able to access the Internet.
