I recently got BSNL broadband connection in Changanacherry in Kerala. They have provided me with a UTSTARCOM DSL modem; model-UT300U2U. My internet connection is fine but when I use VPN to connect to a client's network in the U.S. using Notrel Contivity VPN client it comes back with an error message.."Login Failure due to remote host not responding". When I called up the client they say they are not seeing any packets come thru from my id. Can somebody help me out????

go to the command prompt and type ping nameofserver where nameofserver is the name of your VPN server. see if you are first able to ping properly
