Sharing towers is passive infrastructure sharing, but sharing spectrum is active infrastructure sharing. For that the new and final m&a guidelines has to be released by trai [telecom ministry approval pending] by this month end...

Vodafone India To Commence 4G Services By Dec 2015

Vodafone India confirms that it will launch its 4G services by end of the calendar year 2015.Important data markets including Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Bengaluru and Kochi will be part of the first wave of the roll-out.
Testing of 4G services has commenced successfully. Vodafone India has partnered with leading global technology infrastructure service providers for the network roll-out. With some of the latest technological developments on the anvil; Vodafone is building robust and resilient network architecture with a strong backhaul to support the volumes and need for speed from customers.
Vodafone India had successfully acquired additional 4G (LTE) spectrum in 5 circles viz. Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Kerala and Karnataka in February 2014 auctions. These circles together contribute close to 50% of the total data revenues for Vodafone India.

Barely 10 days left and no 4G signals of Vodafone to be found anywhere in Mumbai. How will they launch in December?

price would be same as 3g however it more of pr stunt to say we are in 4g race. I doubt voda would launch on time, after the changeover from hutch to voda they spend less on network more on marketing.
