Vodafone , idea removing roaming between mumbai and maharashtra.Stop llooting from customers treat mumbai and maharashtra as one circle.If any of the telecom authorities are listening please give ONE MNC for complete maharashtara including mumbai like in case of chennai and tamilnadu its done.Mr maran removed artifical barriers between chennai and tamilnadu from 2005 what about mumbai and maharashtra forgot to do it.From 2005 customers of mumbai and maharashtra are being looted in the name of roaming given the fact that only incoming is free between mum and mah from these operators what about the outgoing charges they are like so high and different.If nothing is done then initiative will be taken to ban these operaotrs who dont treat both circle as one circle and provie home tariff as one circle.

Sorry for the mistake in the title i belive that DOT should give one MNC or should make mandatory for all operators in mumbai and mah to operate on one MNC now onwards and govt should refund the fees of other circle license the reason in is if you compare call rate, 3G pack rates in mum, mah which are very high due to which its not affordable to buy these packs but if you go down in south like tamilnadu ,chennai they have very affordable rates like 149 for 3G from operators like vodafone etc which is due to that these telecom operators dont have to buy different licenses for chennail and tamilnadu they have to buy only one license for complete tamilnadu due to which these operators cannot charge for roaming between chennai and tamilnadu( As mentioned this merger took place long time back in 2005 but in case of mum and mah circle not done step motheryly treatment).Also the biggest problem is for those people who live close to mumbai circle like vasai -virar regions which falls under mah circle when any person from these regions goes to mumbai circles just 1 km roaming starts and these operators charge very high.The biggest of joke is peoplle who live in vithalwadi east falls under mumbai circle where as vithalwadi west falls under mah circle so if person cross a bridge roaming starts.Atleatst care should to be taken what should be the extent of mumbai service area.Complete mumbai metro poltian area should be under mumbai service area because the people from these area travel daily to mumabi for work but which is not the case.Mumbai service area currently covers
mumbai city, kalyan-dombivli area, thane area , mira-bhayander area and navimumbai its also should include rest of mumbai metro area like vasai -virar regions ,ulhasnagar , ambernath and badlapur regions
Also we have seen like in case of airtel it has license of 3G in mum but not in mah and vice versa in case of idea so people who are living close to these circle as mentioned above face lot of problme like no seamless service , many times no network but these operators are not able to provide good service due to this aritifical divison.
So its high time that mumbai being part of maharashtra is treated different circle,both circles should be merged and govt should now provide license to complete mah and not as mum and mah treating different circles.
At end customers will beneift, operators will benefit and govt can also benefit by keeping a good rate for complete mah operation license
