Vodafone launches new RED plans with double data benefits, unlimited roaming and voice calls

Mom is on 499 plan. Data got doubled but minutes have been reduced.

I guess we have reached the stage where operators are realizing that it is better to focus on charging for data because calls are inconsequential.

On the contrary @499 earlier they used to give 1000mins..... now only 700mins..... emphasising as said above....

You will need to ask Vodafone to switch you to the new plans. They are not automatically shifting customers to the changed plans which is a good thing. Got mom's plan changed to 499 699. Not so much for the 1000 minutes but for 2GB data. She uses much more data than before. 😛

Can confirm, just shifted my 1299 from 3GB data to 4GB data. Also the CC rep told me they're launching 4G in Maharashtra in Diwali, dont know if he was faffing about or not, though.

AirTel infinity plans are far better w.r.t VF Red plans as far unlimited calls & roaming is concerned.

So now everyone is giving free calls. What happened to their claims of voice being expensive. I like how Jio is pushing the limits whatever we say it will be good for us consumers.
