I'm curious to know how much ping you get in your vodafone GPRS or vodafone 3G plan.
Just state the ping get in your connection and whether you have 3G or 2G.

To measure the ping,
1. type 'ping http://www. google. com' (spaces removed) in command prompt for windows and the same in terminal for MAC and linux

I get a ping of 300-500mS in my vodafone GPRS connection.(2G)
 
Latency and ping times depend on a variety of things, especially distance. Use SpeedTest.net and check your ping to the closest server.
For me, on Vodafone 3G it is between 80-100 millisecs.
