Videocon D2H has switched to the HD access fee formula

Happened to browse the site & except for the Max. pack i.e. Platinum HD/New South Platinum HD, all others have been updated to access fee model

AErlier, I believe only Tata Sky had done this

The subscribers of New diamond pack, Platinum pack, New South diamond pack and South Platinum pack, in order to enjoy HD channels have to upgrade to Platinum HD pack/ New South Platinum HD pack, whichever applicable. HD access fee is not applicable on these packs.

Basically, except the Platinum HD packs, all other HD packs are removed. You now need to get the basic packs, and pay extra access fee ranging upto Rs.150 to access the HD equivalents of the channels in the pack you chose.

I have new gold + hd globe add-on already activated on my connection.
But hd globe is not on d2h website now.
Weird......

I guess at the moment they are not forcing old subscribes to switch, its just that new subscribers can't take or existing subscribers can't switch to.

I too am on South Platinum HD. Which is no longer on website. Anyone new can only take the New South Platinum HD which comes with the Sun HD channels.
