Can't say but a normal Set Top Box has a capacity of adding about 1000 channels!!!!!

The videocon d2h satellite can support upto 1000 channels, don't know about the exact sd or hd channels..

Karan is absolutely correct. Even the cheapest STB has a capacity to hold 1000 channels . Even govt is citing this as reason for digitization.
