very slow connection

Hi,I am experiencing very slow connection. I have complained about it to TataIndicom customer care and installed venturi speed plus software. This software still not help me. I am still facing slow connection problem.:madness:

Don't expect downloads at greater than 8kbps. Sometimes speeds may spike to 15kbps.

Hi,I have been using TATA Plug 2 Surf Whiz USB modem for the last year or so and the speed is ok to say the least. The best download speed I get is between 15-17 kbps during the day and around 25 kbps at night. I use this connection on Fedora Linux not Windows as most of the users do.I generally recharge for Rs. 801 for 30 days and mine is a pre-paid type connection, I hate billing so never went for a post-paid one.
