Very poor speed on office VPN

Hello guys,

I'm on a 100mbps plan and connecting to my office network through FortiClient VPN
The speed I'm getting after connecting to VPN ranges from 2Mbps to 12Mbps. Doesn't go beyond that.
None of my colleagues are experiencing this issue with their respective ISPs (ACT, Hathaway, Local)

What should I do?

Try enabling DTLS tunnel in settings. Might improve the speed

That option is grayed out in the VPN client.

Click the lock icon at the extreme right menu bar. That will unlock it

Also, is your tunnel full or split? The issue you mention makes me think you are in full tunnel mode. If so, ask your net admin to alter your ssl policy to allow split tunnel mode. He has to do this if the client is your personal device. If the client you are using is a corporate device, full tunnel might be a policy that you cannot circumvent

Great.
I was able to select the preferred dtls tunnel option.
There is indeed some difference between the speed now and before.
But sirf 2mbps se badha hai speed. 🙁

I've tried creating couple of service tickets for this issue, but my company's IT guys close those tickets simply by saying, "the issue is not at our end. None of other users are experiencing this issue."

And it's been 2 months since I'm using Airtel Xstream

Its a USA VPN server ? Check your LG. It might give you a better idea.
