So I installed the latest version of μTorrent through the official website today and discovered what a mess it has become. Tried to install three crapware. Has multiple ads on the screen. Keeps on pushing to pay for it. Insane. Vuze is just so much better in comparison.

uTorrent 2.2.1 is the best version imo. Though ads etc in the newer versions can be removed, AFAIK.

I have stopped downloading torrents directly via clients due to privacy and copyright issues. Using Alldebrid for more than 6 months now and directly download them via IDM. Speed is super fast and you could easily cross 5Mbps if your broadband supports it.
