UT-300R2U reliability

I have been using the UT-300R2U for the last couple of days, it is heating up a lot, how reliable is this modem for continuous use. I have a UL plan and hence my modem is always on. Previously I used to have a UT-300R and it got damaged, so had to trade this in with BSNL. The previous modem used to get hot, but not to this extent. So what do you guys think? Can this modem take the continuous beating.Thanks,Anand.S

I have the MTNL UT-300R2U for almost 1.5 to 2 years now and its perfect.
Heats up like you said, but cant make coffee with it.
C'mon even Nokia phones heat up a little.

No issues,but maybe I got a piece from a good batch that was manufactured.
Also http://192.168.1.1/main.html gives me all the access i need

Yes my modem heats up too. But gives no problem. Touchwood.

me too..have had UT300R2U for 2 yrs no problems till now..D-Link 502T was big headache..
