Using the Bsnl UTStarcom WA3002g4 wireless TYPE-IV ADSL broadband modem router outside India

Hi,I have a Bsnl UTStarcom WA3002g4 wireless TYPE-IV ADSL broadband modem router with 4 LAN ports and 1 Wireless Antenna.Since I don't have the landline anymore, I don't need this Modem/Router.Thing is, can this modem/router be used outside India, like in the USA or Singapore? If it can be, I'm thinking of giving it to my cousin who is in the USA or else I sell it in India itself.Can this modem be used abroad? Thanks for helping.Norman
