Using prepaid RUIM in deactivated postpaid evdo (zte) device

I bought evdo on may 2009 with zte equiplent (EVDO AC 8700 800M) and used it in postpaid till may 2010 and surrendered it. Now, in my town salem, they are advertising that they provide cdma RUIM (sim card in cdma is called ruim) with unlimited validity. I just want to know if I can use that old device to connect with the new ruim they provide and surf in prepaid. If anyone know how to do it, please tell the way to do it and please provide settings.
