Using 2 internet connections for better connectivity

I have ADSL broadband connection(BSNL 750 UNLIMITED PLAN) which is fairly reliable.I want to add another internet connection( not to increase download speed but) to ensure better connectivity.I am looking for device/software/utility which may help in switching to another back up internet connection automatically

You will have to get a load balancing router like D-Link DI-LB604 or Linksys RV042 for that.

Using Linksys RV042... Having so many services like firewall, load balancing, Dual WAN, DMZ, 4 LAN Ports, VPN, Content filtering, DHCP, DNS Server, Port Management.It's awesome.

dual wan routers would be best for you. you would not have to switch between them at all as the router would handle the load sharing and both the connections would be used at the same time. i was considering getting a similar setup.
