Hi everybody,I have two internet connections one through BSNL Broadband which I use for my desktop PC, and other a Tata Indicom plug2surf usb modem connection which I use for my laptop. Most of the time my Tata indicom modem sits idle as I use it only when I am traveling. I just want to know if there is a way I can use these both connections simultaneously for getting total speed of both connection for greater download speeds.

Two ethernet connections can be combined, but it will produce something known as load balancing. Bonding two connections together like this won't give you faster speeds on an individual connection basis, it will allow you to have more simultaneous connections. Also u would have to invest on specialised Cisco routers. Am clueless about combining ethernet and usb connectivity 🙁

See this about combining two ISP's connections ( reference ). Not workable in your case, as one is USB and another ethernet connection.

You could try in Desktop both . But whether combined output will be available is doubtful. If one connection fails the other should take over. Try a direct download of a file or test speed at speed test sites. The faster connection will dominate. Test it at your own risk.
Read "EULA" !!
