Old news... The UN had tried to convince US to give up the control of the root servers to UN but US had refused... 😕
 
from what i know. internet is working pretty fine the way it is. maybe if it is democratised, it would start falling apart. US invented the internet, maybe we can let them control it until their is a better solution available.
 
no...they arent talking about democracy.... They are talking about shifting the control of the major root servers to UN. This will prevent US from mis-using them against any country...
 
UN cannot handle the politics of the world. how can they even handle the internet?
 
US can anyday handle internet better than anyother country. China will sensor every damn thing on this internet even if a get a say in it adn anyway's UN suxx they are useless now just as was League of nations , UN is bound to be doomed sooner or latter just that Third world countries are sticking with and UN doesnt object to wht US does so ....
 

Tell the people who are under the protection of UN peacekeepers and are alive due to UN food aid.US is going to hell. with it becoming more and more selfish by the day. soon the US idiots might start using the internet to oppress other nations.

even if UN gets the control of root serversit wont make any diff......coz UN will still be in control of US 😛 😀 😉
