hey there,
tODAY TIKONA guys called me up and said they would be coming tomorrow for demo/installation and 3000 rs as subscription charges in advance. But the bad part is that i wont be at home as i have urgent work in the office.
Please anyone who is with tikona in near South Delhi (specifically Raju Park, Khanpur pin code- 110062) share your experience as i do not want to become another victim of their poor services. What is their FUP policy?? I have subscribed 20gb 2 mbps plan (512 kbps unlimted post FUP).
i have also registered a connection with MTNL but they havnt replied. so i am going with tikona as i cany wait anymore.
All kind of review... positive/Negative are welcom. Help ur fellow forum member. lol !
Thanks in advance

Tikona as such are a good operator. But being a wireless service, you have to ascertain how far the signal access point is from your place and if there is a direct air contact between the two. If it is within 200m with direct visibility, then you should have a great time.
Tikona are pretty good when it comes to adhering to FUPs. Data transfer can be tracked online and payments too can be made online.
Just ensure that during the demo, they use the same type of access router (Nano, ruckus, etc) that they would install and check for speeds and download speeds.

hello
so finally got my tikona connection..now up and running.
Payment made last night ...cash after the engineer installed all the sysytem and configured my lappie. I could have activated my account today only but i had to leave for office. Thanks to my boss i was home early today..
so now here is the pickle..
now i have done a speed test on speedtest..et and the download speed seems to be fine.. for a 2mbps connection.. but wait.. the upload speeds are pathetic.. to say the least.. now i am not a techie guy or whatever but i know this is below acceptable levels... any idea anybody???

Bhai , Tikona ISP are poor performers. You have to mostly cope with server down or no connectivity issue in case you subscribe for them. The field staff is casual . Your connection will only be feasible if its near to their tower other wise you will often face disruption in you connection. My suggestion is you may settle for Nextra fibre or Relaince wireline broadband.
